Why Choose Black Rock?
Crafted in a state-of-the-art Krones brewery, Black Rock kits are brewed using only the finest New Zealand malts before being concentrated down for your convenience. This means you can create authentic craft beer at home without the costly, time-consuming all-grain process.
Whether you’re enjoying a glass after mowing the lawn, hosting a barbecue, or just want a crisp, easy-drinking lager in the fridge, Black Rock Classic Pale Ale is a reliable favourite for any occasion.
Looking for a food match? The Black Rock Pale Ale Goes Well With…
1. Spicy Thai Mango Salad: The intense tropical fruit flavors from the hops would match well with a spicy and tangy mango salad, enhancing the fruity notes of the beer and cutting through the heat.
2. Pulled Pork: The caramel tones from the Amber Malt Extract, if used, harmonize with the sweet and smoky flavors of pulled pork, making for a delicious pairing.
3. Margherita Pizza: The simplicity of a classic Margherita pizza, with its fresh basil, ripe tomatoes, and creamy mozzarella, pairs well with the Pale Ale’s balanced hoppy bitterness and smooth mouthfeel.
4. Chorizo Sausage: The hoppy bitterness and clean finish of the Pale Ale balance the bold, spicy, and slightly oily flavors of chorizo, making for a fantastic contrast..
5. Butternut Squash and Sage Risotto: The softer bitterness and citrusy-floral notes of the beer would complement the sweet and savory flavors of a butternut squash risotto, enhancing the complexity of both the dish and the beer.
A decent Pale Ale, albeit I use it in a clone brew and add the amber liquid malt. Works well for what I am doing. Picture as brewed with amber malt.
