This premium light dry malt extract has been spray-dried into a fine soluble powder. Spray drying preserves all the flavour and does not darken the malt. Spraymalt is produced by atomizing malt into tiny droplets and then rapid drying.
If using as the primary fermentation ingredient, for example in place of dextrose we would suggest you use 1kg (2 x 500g packets) of dry malt extract.
This product could also be used with 1kg of dextrose, 1kg of enhancer or liquid brewing sugar to improve the characteristics of your brew and increase ABV. When dry malt powder is used in this way you can expect to add 0.5 – 1.0% to the planned ABV.
